Abstract
A STUDY OF CRITICAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR GPRS-BASED POWER DISTRIBUTION FAULT-POSITIONING SYSTEM

For common power distribution automation construction mode, the frequent adjustment of network structure may result in significant waste of investments. In order to deal with the problem, we proposes to combine the operation state of power distribution network, especially the fault state, with existing PMS and GIS system, and achieve the integrated management, offering exact information about the location of fault for timely repair, as well as assisting decision-making information.
