Abstract
A STUDY ON MEDICAL SERVICE QUALITY, PATIENT SATISFACTION AND FOLLOW-UP MEDICAL BEHAVIORAL INTENTIONS OF ARMED FORCES HOSPITAL IN TAIWAN

The purpose of this study is to investigate medical service quality, patient satisfaction and follow-up medical behavioral intentions of armed forces hospital in Taiwan. The correlation between the medical service quality, patient satisfaction and patient follow-up behavioral intentions, and the difference between the demographic variables and perceived service and desired service performance are investigated based on three medical quality service facets: a medical procedure, environment and facilities, patient safety. In this study, 5-point Likert scale is adopted to design the questionnaire. Statistical methods including hypothesis tests and multiple regression analysis are used to investigate the influence of service quality, customer satisfaction and follow-up behavioral intention. The overall satisfaction of medical service quality, medical procedure and hospital environment and facilities are investigated. The relationship between medical service quality and follow-up behavioral intention of the armed force hospital in Taiwan is also investigated in this study.
