The anti-coagulation knowledge test shows a mean of 11.78 with a standard deviation of 1.96 which shows the moderate level of knowledge on oral anticoagulation therapy. Whereas the warfarin compliance assessment scale shows a mean of 1.63 with a standard deviation of 0.901 which shows the inadequate level of complains level on oral anti coagulation therapy among patients subjected to heart valve replacement. There is a significant association of age, education, occupation, place of residence and monthly income, co morbid illness, duration of warfarin therapy with knowledge on oral anti coagulation at the level of p<0.05. There is a significant association of place of residence with warfarin compliance for oral anticoagulation therapy at the level of p<0.05.
