Abstract

Maxillary anterior teeth are most commonly affected by traumatic injuries and most commonly involved teeth are central incisors. Such injuries may result in crown fracture, root fracture or combined crown & root fracture. Complicated crown fractures usually involve the pulp and they need endodontic management. The treatment options may vary depending upon the availability of fractured crown segment. When fractured crown segment is available or is not detached from its original position, it can be managed through reattachment procedure. The present case report is about discussing the management of a complicated crown fracture of maxillary central incisor with single visit endodontic treatment followed by reattachment technique using fiber reinforced composite (FRC) post and composite resin
