Abstract

Congenital peripheral constriction ring is due to compression in the soft tissue usually involving the deep fascia surrounding the leg at the time of birth. Amniotic band syndrome is an uncommon congenital disorder without any genetic or hereditary disposition. It involves fetal entrapment in strands of amniotic tissue and causes an array of deletions and deformations. This case is unique on account of its association with talipes equinovarus with constriction rings and absent great toe in the left foot.
