In Turkey, there is no definite database on seasonal burns observed in childhood. This research was planned to analyze the seasonal incidence of burn injury cases. The population of this research was planned as a cross-sectional retrospective record study. Ege University, Faculty of Medicine, Pediatric Surgery Unit. The sample of the research consisted of the records for the 0-19 years of age group (n=167). A total of 60.5% of the burn injury cases were in the 0-3 years of age group and 70.1% were males. It was determined that 86.2% of the infants were burned by hot beverages and 28.7% of burn injuries occurred during the winter months. It was determined that burn injury cases showed a statistically significant difference according to seasons (Z: 2.336, p<0.01). It was observed that burn injury cases showed a seasonal variation and burns were caused by hot beverages during the winter months. It was concluded that nurses could raise awareness among mothers by teaching them how to avoid household accidents.
