Malignant lymphomas (ML) comprises of a diverse group of tumors showing a rising trend worldwide. A significant geographic variation is seen in distribution of various subtypes of Lymphomas. Aims and Objectives: To study the prevalence and pattern of Malignant Lymphomas in the Southern part of North East India. Methods: This study included all cases of ML diagnosed from Jan 2011 to Sept 2015 in the department of Pathology CCHRC Silchar. Results: Out of total 101 cases of ML, 84 cases were of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and 17 cases were of Hodgkin's lymphoma ( HL). Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) was the predominant NHL followed by Follicular Lymphoma and Anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Classical HL was predominant over Nodular Lymphocytic Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma (NLPHL). Conclusion: DLBCL was significantly more in this region. Classical HL was predominant showing an equal distribution in children and adults. Extra-nodal NHL was mostly DLBCL and the commonest site was GIT
