193DENTURE HYGIENE: A SHORT NOTE ON DENTURE CLEANSERSDenture base material and denture teeth collect deposits in the same manner as natural teeth do. The soft food debris that clinches on to the denture can easily be removed by light brushing or rubbing followed by rinsing. The hard deposits of calculus that can form on the denture are much more difficult to remove.
