<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>275</id><JournalTitle>SURVEY ON APPLICATION OF MOBILE TECHNOLOGY IN LIBRARY SERVICES</JournalTitle><Abstract>This survey is an offshoot of a workshop on mobile application in library services organized by the Librarianâ€™s
Registration Council of Nigeria at the University of Ibadan in November 2014, at the end of the workshop, a questionnaire
was distributed to participants for completion, the responses were analysed. The survey is divided into two sections; section
one focused on the present state of library services, changing paradigm, application of mobile technologies in daily lives,
implication for libraries and expanded services to users as well as library mobile initiatives with focus on Adeyemi College
of Education Library, Ondo, Nigeria. Section two consists of direct responses of participants on types of devices being used,
types of mobile phones used, willingness to buy smart phones with requisite function for mobile services and activities on
