<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>469</id><JournalTitle>NURSING RESEARCH TRENDS IN TURKEY: A STUDY ON POSTGRADUATE AND DOCTORATE THESES</JournalTitle><Abstract>Background &Aim: In Turkey, there is no research done except a workshop that defined the national priorities in
nursing researches and a paper. This study aims to determine topic trends by examining nursing postgraduate and doctorate
thesis titles. Methods & Materials: Postgraduate and doctorate theses between 1984 and 2007 (n=1324) were investigated in
this investigation. Theses were found online from the higher Education Institution website, with the keyword â€œnursingâ€.
Results: Most used topic trends in postgraduate theses were defining knowledge level studies, studies involving scales and
basic nursing applications. For doctorate theses those were studies involving scales, quality studies, defining knowledge level
studies. Conclusion: Theses examined were mostly postgraduate, and theses were mostly done in nursing department. Topic
trends in postgraduate theses were towards determining knowledge level, this was scale studies for doctorate theses. There is
