COLI F18-RESISTANT AND -SENSITIVE PIGLETS</JournalTitle>
Cluster of differentiation antigen 14 (CD14) plays an important regulating role in the inflammatory response and immune
responses. In this study, real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR was used todetect the transcription level of CD14 in E. coli
F18-resistant and -sensitive Sutai piglets and western blotting was used to detect the related translation level. The results
showed that the transcription level of CD14 gene in jejunum of resistant individuals was significantly higher than sensitive
individuals (P <0.01),and the translation level was consistent with mRNA expression level. The results illustrated that the upregulation of CD14 gene expression might be related to the resistance of E. coli F18.
<Email>wbbao@yzu.edu.cn</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>6</volume><issue>10</issue><year>2016</year><keyword>Pig,CD14,E. coli F18,qPCR,Western blotting</keyword><AUTHORS>Chaohui Dai, Li Sun,Weiyun Qin,Ying Liu, GuoqiangZhu, Shenglong Wu,Wenbin Bao</AUTHORS><afflication> Key Laboratory for Animal Genetics, Breeding, Reproduction and Molecular Design, College of Animal Science and Technology, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, China., Key Laboratory for Animal Genetics, Breeding, Reproduction and Molecular Design, College of Animal Science and Technology, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, China., Key Laboratory for Animal Genetics, Breeding, Reproduction and Molecular Design, College of Animal Science and Technology, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, China., Key Laboratory for Animal Genetics, Breeding, Reproduction and Molecular Design, College of Animal Science and Technology, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, China., College of Veterinary Medicine, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, China, Key Laboratory for Animal Genetics, Breeding, Reproduction and Molecular Design, College of Animal Science and Technology, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou 225009, China., Key Laboratory for Animal Genetics, Breeding, Reproduction and Molecular Design, College of Animal Sc</afflication></Article></Articles>
