childhood, potential and dignity. Poverty as well as excess population is the primary cause of child labour which has
negative and positive effect in the society of the developing countries like Bangladesh. So, it is an urgent
responsibility to identify the vulnerable children and point out their problems which bound them to be a child labour.
To eradicate child labour and change their horrible condition, many steps have been adopted by the international and
national organizations. Without improving the standard of living at the lower levels of society, it is impossible to
eliminate child labour. By this article, an attempt is made to present the socio-economic scenario of child labour in
