reduction and fixation usually requires for most of the fractures .The direct linear posterior approach to posterior
tibial plateau fractures, with the patient in a prone position, has been used to overcome limitations related to basic
approaches. This technique allows the direct visualization, good reduction of fracture and easy application of the
screws from posterior to anteriorly without the extensive muscular damage and dissection of the neurovascular
bundle, with minimal blood loss and for placement of an antiglide buttress plate at the fracture site
<Email>zn-taoshengxiang@163.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>7</volume><issue>3</issue><year>2017</year><keyword>Posterior column tibial plateau fracture,Linear posterior approach,Buttress T plate,Minimal tissue and neurovascular damage, Cadaveric study</keyword><AUTHORS>Raja Nimmagadda,Hu Xiang,Tao Sheng Xiang</AUTHORS><afflication>Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, 169 Donghu Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan, 430071, Hubei, People’s Republic Of China,Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, 169 Donghu Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan, 430071, Hubei, People’s Republic Of China,Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, 169 Donghu Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan, 430071, Hubei, People’s Republic Of China</afflication></Article></Articles>
